根據(jù)試驗(yàn)，普通路面潮濕狀態(tài)下防滑阻力為45（bpn值），彩色路面新鋪裝后潮濕狀態(tài)下防滑阻力為78（bpn值），車輛磨損后潮濕狀態(tài)下防滑阻力仍可達(dá)到76（bpn值）。從試驗(yàn)數(shù)據(jù)可見，彩色路面的防滑阻力比普通路面提高了68%。二是，彩色路面鋪裝是在原路面上形成5mm的凸起面層，使車輛通過瞬間產(chǎn)生輕快震動(dòng)，提醒駕駛員需減速度行駛。三是，通過色彩與路面顏色形成強(qiáng)烈反差，給駕駛員在視覺上造成沖擊，從而達(dá)到提高駕駛員注意力，采取有效措施減速慢行的效果。
